Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, you are able to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for my services. All payments will be due at the time of service. I am considered an out of network provider If you would like to have the costs of my services reimbursed through your insurance company, I will be happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance company. Please know that not all medical insurance policies cover the costs of medical weight loss services. This is very unfortunate. You will also want to check with your insurance company to see if it covers out-of-network providers. If you opt to have your insurance company reimburse you, know that any reimbursed funds will go directly to you. The amount of reimbursement will depend on your insurance provider. It is best to contact your insurance provider and/or FSA/HFA directly to gain information regarding coverage and reimbursement.

What makes health coaching at Adorn Your Health different than other health coaching services?

Now this is a completely valid question. I know these days anyone can call themselves an expert and whip together a product to sell. I get it! I cannot separate my background from what I teach, meaning I'm not coming from a background in finance or tech, putting together a weight loss program solely based on my personal experience from weight loss. Now I'm not saying that you have to be a healthcare professional to produce an effective weight loss program, but I am saying that I come with 20 years of both healthcare and personal experience in the health, wellness, and fitness industry. I have a tremendous amount of expertise and passion for why I coach. I'm truly invested in getting your results. My coaching is specifically designed to improve metabolic health through evidence based and effective methods that result in sustainable weight loss and improved long term health outcomes. I do not advocate for quick fixes. My program requires you to work. Change is not easy! I have designed a system to guide you through these challenges through empowering you with reliable health information, transforming your mindset to break those limiting beliefs hindering your progress, providing you a step-by-step framework for habit stacking, and access to consistent support through coaching and community. These are building blocks for your success. But you must bring the effort.

How long before I can see results?

Another great question! Results will vary depending on how much time, attention, and consistency you are able to put towards implementing the healthy changes outlined in the program. Depending on the tracking method you are using, you can see results in weeks to months. Please remember, we are going for sustainable results, and we are letting go of those unrealistic timelines that have often kept us in that vicious yo --yo dieting cycle in the past.

What if I don't have time to work out?

Now I absolutely get the busy lifestyle. This program was designed with the busy professional in mind because I know this struggle all too well as a busy professional and mother myself. You'd be surprised how much you can get in a day when you are strategic with the type of exercise you are doing. I place a strong emphasis on strength training. And you do not need to spend hours a day lifting weights to achieve weight loss and improve metabolic health. In fact, you can get results in as little as two days per week. Or in small pockets of time spread out throughout the week. My program teaches you exactly how to do this.

What exercise equipment will I need?

Are you thinking that you need to have exercise equipment or a gym membership to be successful in this program? Well, you don't. Yes, exercise is a big part of this program. But I provide you exercise frameworks for a variety of situations, from the gym goer to the home workout types to those who have no equipment at all. The beautiful thing about strength training is that there's a variety of ways to accomplish this that do not include just going to the gym.
